When you don't require your passengers to buckle up, especially children, it becomes more complicated. I will not start my engine until everyone is buckled. I certainly agree that drivers who use a cell phone or text (?!!!) while driving should be hung by their thumbs. But it's easier to spot someone without a seat belt than someone using a cell phone. I'm grateful that the police are going after any of these fools.
She was my teacher in 1982 and my brother's teacher in 1976. I still have great memories of her to this day. What a wonderful lady who was a great teacher too. She was the 1st person to tell me I was a talented writer and convinced the principal to let me read a story I wrote to the whole school over the loudspeaker. I was just 7 years old but she made me feel so special and I will never forget her.
