Companies like the Canadian-based Earl's sends anonymous on-line surveys every three months to better understand the concerns of its workforce, The Wall Street Journal.

The increased feedback allows corporations to become more engaged in their employees careers and focus less on just numbers, The Wall Street Journal reported.
