The establishment is exceedingly family-friendly and draws a lively bar crowd, while serving up "sometimes excellent food," reported The New York Times.

One of the owners, chef Mogan Anthony, brought "a broadly appealing menu and a rotating roster of market-driven specials" to the restaurant, said The New York Times.

Among menu highlights are Portuguese-style octopus, shrimp piri piri and striped bass called "best of all," reported the newspaper.

"Top-notch" service is also cited in the report.
