The new restaurant, which had its soft opening Saturday, Nov. 4, has also just unveiled its website.
"We want to show diners that healthy is delicious and can be satisfying,' said Yorktown Heights longtime business Owner Adil Mustafaj.
"We also want the community to know we cater to vegetarians and vegans."
Diners will find an array of breakfast dishes including a Parfait Vegan (coconut yogurt, granola, berries, nuts and seeds), Toasty (lentil toasted flatbread, with nut or bean spread and crisp veggies), Classic Acai (banana, blueberries, strawberries, coconut flakes, and cashews) as well as hot bowls filled with choice proteins (you can also make your own), salads and smoothies.
The Garden is named after the owner's wife, Eda, who suffered a tragic accident and past away two months ago. The restaurant is a tribute to her -- as well as to those looking to live a healthier life.
Eda's Garden is at 1871 Commerce St., 914- 352-6280, www.edasgarden.com/ and is open Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
