New York Times Profiles Cross River's Bluebird Ice Cream

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The New York Times took a road trip around Westchester County and profiled three ice cream shops in Thursday's edition calling them among the best in the area .

The Times gushed over the sweet treats at Longford's in Rye, Main Street Sweets in Tarrytown and Bluebird in Cross River.

The author of the article judged the ice cream establishments by the types of cones available and sampling only classic hard ice cream in chocolate, vanilla and strawberry.

The Daily Voice had already profiled Bluebird and Longford's.
