Creative Writing Workshop Tops Somers Teen Events For January

SOMERS, N.Y. -- The Somers Library offers an array of teen workshops in January.

Creative Writing: (8th graders and up), Thursdays, 3:30 to 5 p.m.:1/14, 1/28, 2/11, 2/25, 3/10, 3/24, 4/14.

Fashion Design (6th graders and up) Fridays, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. : 1/22, 2/5, 3/4, 4/1, 4/15, & 4/29. There is a minimal supply list for this class. For information and to register, email somers@wlsmail.org or call (914) 232-5717.

Pokemon Battle Party: Saturday, Jan. 30, for grades 2 to 4, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. and for grades 5 and up, 2:30 to 3:45 p.m. Participants must bring their cards to show and battle independently. They also must bring the following: 3DS or DS to the tournament; games for device: For 3DS - X, Y or OR/AS; for DS - Black 2, White 2 or lower; chargers.
