Held in cooperation with the New York Blood Center, the blood drive is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m., in the cafeteria at the school, 250 Route 202, Somers.
Potential donors should be between the ages of 16 and 75 and weigh at least 110 lbs. Parent permission forms are required for donors who are 16, and those older than 75 should bring a note from a doctor.
Each day, the New York Blood Center needs more than 2,000 donations of blood to keep up with demand in the 200 partner hospitals, officials said.
