Shred Documents At Rockland Business Women’s Network Event

NORTH ROCKLAND, N.Y. -- The Rockland Business Women’s Network (RBWN) will host a community-wide networking and shredding event on Wednesday, March 9 from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Rockland Community College Business Innovation Mall at 37 West Broad St. in Haverstraw.

The event is sponsored by the Law Offices of Lauren Murray. The event is open to anyone to bring documents for shredding as well as those who just wish to attend the on-site events which are as follows: 

  • 8 to 11 a.m.: Legal Shred will be on site to shred documents; continental breakfast will be served and networking will take place 
  • 8:30 a.m.: Tour of the RCC Business Innovation Mall including the 3D printing area, conference and incubator rooms 
  • 9 a.m.: Cyber security discussion on protecting yourself against identity theft and computer hackers 
  • 10:15 a.m.: A second tour of the facility 

The cost to attend is $20 for those who pre-register and the fee includes up to eight boxes of material to shred, breakfast, networking, tours, demonstrations and workshops.
