The contest registration deadline is Tuesday, Dec. 10 and all entries must be delivered to Lasdon between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 13, for judging that day. Contest winners will be notified on Monday, Dec. 16.
All winning gingerbread houses will remain on display during the Lasdon Park Holidays on the Hill Train Show. Entries will be divided into three categories: Child (age 8-16) with a $5 registration fee; Adult (age 17+) with a $10 registration fee; and Family (two or more individuals) with a $15 registration fee.
Following the judging, contestants may opt to let Lasdon donate their creation to the Veterans Hospital in Montrose.
