Team Daniel Holds Mental Illness Awareness Run In Armonk

ARMONK, N.Y. – Local charity Team Daniel will hold a special run, called “Miles for Miles,” on Sunday, May 31, at Byram Hills High School in Armonk.

The run is named for Byram Hills alum Miles Applebaum, who ran track and cross country at the school. Applebaum died last year while at Temple University after battling depression.

Team Daniel focuses on raising funds to help residents cope with mental illness.

The race will begin at 9 a.m., with registration set to begin at 8 a.m.

Running legend Bill Rodgers, four-time winner of the Boston and New York City Marathon, will run the event as well.
