Troopers from the Dover barracks were patrolling the area when they spotted a vehicle owned by Bulmaro Gonzalez, 43, on the property. When authorities approached the car, Gonzalez allegedly fled on foot, police said.
Police found the vehicle full of copper piping which was allegedly taken from a building on the propery and arrested Gonzalez after tracking him down, police said.
Gonzalez was charged with third-degree burglary and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. He was remanded to Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail or $50,000 bond, police said.
