Presley Nau, 25, has not been charged with the homicide and police have not said how he may be connected, the story said. He has been charged with possession of the firearm that was found near the body of Wyclif Bel-Jean, according to the report.
Stamford police Capt. Richard Conklin told the newspaper Bel-Jean's body was dumped near Norwalk Hospital early on July 12, 2012 and found alongside a backpack containing a semiautomatic pistol, a white mask, a black ski hat, gloves, a baseball hat and socks.
Authorities identified Nau as someone wanted in connection with the killing in October 2014, the story said. Local police took him into custody Wednesday after he was extradited from Delaware, the report said.
