SOMERS, N.Y. -- Somers Library is holding an identify theft and consumer fraud prevention presentation by Brian Rauer of the Better Business Bureau's Mid-Hudson/NYS region on Monday, March 23, at 6 p.m.

Before falling prey to such identity-theft scams, educate yourself, look for the red flags and know what to avoid. If you are victimized, know what steps to take to minimize the damage. Take proper precautions and don’t be a victim.

This program is free as a service of the local Better Business Bureau.
