Renaissance fans can attest to the brilliance of their shows. As an an added bonus for the audience, a ticket-stub drawing will be held for an original piece of artwork by Haslam as well as a copy of “Grandine Il Vento” signed by her, each a collector’s item.

Haslam is the lead singer for the English progressive rock pioneers Renaissance. She will belt out songs with her five-octave range from their new album as well as classics, including “Day of the Dreamer” and “Ashes are Burning."

Supporting Haslam on lead vocals are keyboardist Rave Tesar, bassist/vocalist David J. Keyes, drummer Frank Pagano, keyboardist Tom Brislin and Ryche Chlanda on acoustic guitars.

Together, they revisit the symphonic textures and poetic lyrics that embody the band’s compelling international themes, with fresh interpretations of their most admired compositions.

Haslam and Dunford paved the way for Renaissance to rise from the ashes of the seminal rock group the Yardbirds. They have since redefined their music with folk rock and classical fusions. Renaissance is on tour this fall to introduce their lush orchestral favorites from the ‘70s to new generations.

For tickets ($50), call the box office at 203-438-5795, or order online at ridgefieldplayhouse.org. The Ridgefield Playhouse is a not-for-profit performing arts center at 80 East Ridge.
