Somers Education Foundation Seeks Acts For 2017 Variety Show

SOMERS, N.Y. -- The Somers Education Foundation is now accepting applications for its annual Variety Show.

The show is open to those students with a wide array of talents, including singing, dancing, comedy, music and more. All acts are required to be three minutes or shorter and must be appropriate for all ages. No pets or animals are allowed.

The application deadline is Jan. 5, according to organizers, who said auditions will then take place on Jan. 11-12. A dress rehearsal is scheduled for Jan. 25 with the main show scheduled for Jan. 27, according to organizers.

Proceeds from the Variety Show will benefit the Somers Education Foundation (SEF), a nonprofit organization that supplements the activities funded in the annual school budget.
