The library is taking part in StoryWalk, a project that was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle and Pedestrian Coalition and the Kellogg Hubbard Library.
Children are invited to take an outdoor walk through the Somers Library grounds to follow a story on Oct. 24. At the end of the walk, there is a cookie waiting inside the library.
Children will read Penguin and Pumpkin by Salina Yoon. After finishing the book, children are invited to go into the library for a cookie during library hour).
