Somers Library Hosts Identity Theft Talk

SOMERS, N.Y. –The Better Business Bureau is presenting a talk about preventing identity theft and consumer fraud at the Somers Library on Monday, March 23, at 6 p.m.

Brian Rauer of the BBB’s Mid-Hudson/NYS Region will discuss ways to avoid becoming a victim of such crime, as well as methods to take after being scammed.  

According to Rauer, identity theft is one of the most common crimes to strike consumers, and it’s growing in frequency.

Admission to the program is free, but registration is required. To register, call the library at 914-232-5717 or visit somerslibrary.org.
