SOMERS, N.Y. -- The Somers Library will host a Yoga and Mindfulness class for teens and tweens on Monday, July 25, in the library's program room.
The class is for students entering the fifth grade and up. Participants will learn:
- How to slow down and increase awareness.
- How to use breath to find calm during times of challenge.
- How to feel energetic through grounding, strengthening and balancing.
- How to relax and restore both body and mind.
Participants should bring a yoga mat to the class. Space is limited and registration is required. Guests can click here to register.
The class will be from 3:45 - 4:30 p.m.
