SOMERS, N.Y. — The Somers Library will host an event celebrating the Edwardian era on Saturday, Oct. 3 from 2 to 3 p.m.
“The History Of Edwardian Fashion” will feature Denise Vanaria and focus on the era's proper wardrobe and etiquette for men and women alike.
Elements like corset training, calling cards, the language of the fan, courtship and various ensembles for certain appointments will all be discussed.
Period mannequins and selections of Vanaria's collection of Gibson Girl dolls will be on display.
The event is free and registration isn't required, but seating is limited and first-come, first-served.
The Somers Library is located at 82 Primrose Street.
