Somers Women's Club Offers New Members Tea, Open House

SOMERS, N.Y. -- The Somers Women's Club will offer an evening for potential new members, featuring an information program about the club, who it is, what it does and how it functions, on April 8 at the Somers Library in Reis Park (off Route 139) at 7 p.m.

The meeting is open to all women of Somers and surround communities that do not have a women's club and women of all ages are invited to learn about the club and enjoy a full tea with all the trimmings.

There will be a special guest speaker Ann Elsworth, who is president of the Women's Respirce Center. Elsworth will give an update on the events, services and needs of the Resource Center and how the community can help meet those needs.
