Katonah's Lasdon Park Holds Valentine's Day Workshops

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Westchester County Nature Center will be hosting events throughout the county Friday, Feb. 14 through Sunday, Feb. 16. 

A schedule of events is below.

Friday, Feb. 14: 

Valentine’s Day Bouquet Workshop: 10:30 a.m. to noon. Create a candy and flower bouquet to give to sweethearts, family members or friends. Lasdon Park, Arboretum and Veterans Memorial, Route 35, Katonah, (914) 864-7268. Fee: $15. Pre-register at (914) 886-5108 or carolinesgardens@aol.com.

Saturday, Feb. 15: 

Loving Creations from Nature: 10 a.m. Remove invasive vines from the trees, then weave them into hearts, wreaths, baskets and more. Lenoir Preserve, Dudley Street, Yonkers, (914) 968-5851.

Saturday, February 15: 

Saw Mill River Audubon Project Feeder Watch: 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Learn how to identify birds and help keep count of the winter birds at the feeder with members of Saw Mill River Audubon. Croton Point Nature Center, Croton-on-Hudson, (914) 862-5297. Information at sawmillaudubon.org.

Sunday, Feb. 16:
