- The Westchester Writers Workshop: Meetings take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on the first, third (and fifth) Thursdays of each month. It offers a safe, supportive, and creative environment to share literary works in progress. Its not a writing class but rather an ongoing group of writers offering assistance to its members who are looking to improve their writing skills through positive feedback and helpful critiques. - Therapeutic Needle Craft Workshop: Individual workshops from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the following dates: Jan. 16, Jan. 30, Feb. 13, Feb. 27, March 5, March 26, April 2, April 16, May 7, May 28, June 4, June 18, July 9, July 23, Aug. 13, Aug. 27, Sept. 10, Sept. 24, Oct. 8, Sept. 24, Oct. 8, Oct. 22, Nov. 5, Nov. 19, Dec. 3, Dec. 17. Bring in your own projects and supplies to receive help to start, work on, or finish a project. This includes crochet, knitting, quilting, cross stitch, embroidery and hand sewing. Group will meet in the library conference room. Space is limited and registration is required. Attend as many sessions as you like, but please register for each one separately. - Coloring Book Club for Adults: Every Friday from 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. Begins Feb. 5. The adults coloring club is a free way to relax, color and socialize. Materials are provided, or you may bring your own color pencils and coloring books. Meetings will be held in the conference room and registration is not required.
