Monday, Dec. 31 - New Year’s Eve
Somers Community Center: 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Celebrate New Year’s Eve in the Crystal Hall of the Somers Community Center. Tickets are $45 per adult, including dinner, non-alcoholic beverages, music and a champagne toast. Children ages 6-12 are $20 each. You are welcome to BYOB if you wish. Somers Schools: Schools are closed Tuesday and reopen Wednesday.
Somers Library: The library is closed Tuesday and reopens Wednesday.
Somers Town Offices: Town offices are closed Tuesday and reopen Wednesday.

Lottery for Young Farmers and Muscoot Wranglers: Beginning Wednesday and continuing every weekday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and weekends from noon to 4 p.m., you can stop by Muscoot Farm to obtain a lottery ticket for attendance at Muscoot’s 2013 summer Young Farmers Camp and Muscoot Wranglers program. Young Farmers is intended for children entering grades one through eight. Wranglers is for children ages 4 and 5. For more information on the Young Farmers Camp, download a registration form. Muscoot Farm is on Route 100, 1½ miles south of Route 35 in Somers.
Energy and Environmental Committee: 7 p.m. The committee meets in the Van Tassell Park Recreation Center on Route 139 in Somers.

Somers Town Board Work Session: 7:30 p.m. The Town Board holds its work session at the Town House, 335 Route 202, Somers.
