Monday, Feb. 4

Team Trivia: 5:15 to 5:45 p.m.  See how many school subject questions you can answer and win some candy. The trivia competition is led by Somers High School student, Zach Krauss. It’s for fourth- and fifth-graders at the Somers Library, 82 Primrose St., Somers. For information or to register, call (914) 232-5717.

Tuesday, Feb. 5

Zumba Combo at Somers Community Center: 9:15 a.m. The Zumba Combo class includes 40 minutes of Zumba, 20 minutes of toning and 10 minutes of abs. The price is $10. It takes place at the Somers Community Center, 34 Hillandale Drive, Shenorock.

Somers Board of Education: 7 p.m. The board will hold a meeting in the library of the Somers Middle School, 250 Route 202, Somers.

Wednesday, Feb. 6

Primrose Kindergarten Registration: 8:15 to 10 a.m. Register your child for the 2013-14 kindergarten year at the Primrose School, 110 Primrose St., Lincolndale.

Somers Rotary Club: 6:45 p.m. The speaker for Wednesday evening's Rotary Club meeting is Shawn Manning who will discuss fundraising. The meeting is at Somerfields Restaurant in the Somerstowne Center (Routes 100 and 202), Somers.

Energy & Environment Committee: 7 p.m. The committee meets at the Van Tassell Park Recreation Center, Route 139, Somers.

Thursday, Feb. 7

Primrose Kindergarten Registration: 8:15 to 10 a.m. Register your child for the 2013-14 kindergarten year at the Primrose School, 110 Primrose St., Lincolndale.

Somers Basketball Fundraiser: 4 to 9 p.m. Jake's Wayback Burgers will donate 15 percent of your bill to the Somers Tuskers Varsity Basketball team when you dine in, take out, order online or by phone. Flyers are not necessary. Jake's Wayback Burgers is in the Triangle Shopping Center, Yorktown Heights.

Drug Crisis in Our Backyard: 7 to 9 p.m. Learn more about the drug crisis in the local community at this open interactive forum. It takes place at Phoenix House Academy, 3151 Stoney St., Mohegan Lake. For more information call Susan Salomone at (914) 582-8384 or Lou Christiansen at (914) 879-4042.

Somers Town Board: 7:30 p.m. The Town Board will hold its work session at the Town House, 335 Route 202, Somers.

Reshaping the Learning Experience: 7:30 p.m. Learn about the new technology Somers eighth-, ninth and 10th-grade students will be using at home and in school beginning next year. Speakers will be Superintendent of Schools Raymond Blanch and Director of Technology Chris White. It’s at the Somers High School Library, 120 Primrose St., Lincolndale.

Meeting of the Somers Middle/High School PTA/PTSA: 7:30 p.m. The joint general meeting will be held at Somers High School, 120 Primrose St., Lincolndale.
