Somers Library Board Meeting: 7:30 p.m. The Library Board will meet at the Somers Library, 82 Primrose St., Somers.

Sibling Rivalry: 7:30 p.m. A workshop for parents of children between four and seven years old. Learn the causes of sibling rivalry and the barriers to sibling closeness. Learn strategies for resolving conflicts and techniques for encouraging closeness. There is no charge. You can register online or call 914-232-5717. Autumn Wine-Tasting: 7:30 p.m. Enjoy an evening with friends to benefit the Somers Education Foundation. Sample a variety of wines and delicious food. Receive a special discount on wine purchases. Fifteen percent of your total purchase will be donated to the foundation. It’s at The Winery at St.George, 1715 East Main St. (Route 6), Mohegan Lake.
