Friday, March 15

Yorktown Teen Center Basketball Contest: 6:30 p.m. The Yorktown Teen Center is set to host a three-point basketball shooting contest at the Yorktown Community and Cultural Center Gym. Children in grades 6 to 12 and adults are eligible. There will be three divisions, and the suggested donation is $5. Proceeds will be donated to the Relay For Life sponsored by the American Cancer Society. Yorktown Community and Cultural Center Gym, 1974 Commerce St.

“How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying” At Somers High School: 7:30 p.m. Somers High School presents its spring musical at the Webster W. Keefe Auditorium. Performances set for 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students.

"Sweet Charity” At Yorktown High School: 7:30 p.m. Yorktown High School presents its spring musical, “Sweet Charity,” which will be staged this weekend. Showtimes are Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door. Tickets are $10.

Unstoppable Women: 10:30 a.m. Join the book discussion at Somers Public Library. Registration is required as space is limited. 80 Primrose St.

Egg Decorating: 10:30 a.m. The John C. Hart Memorial Library is hosting egg decorating workshops for ages 3-and-up. Workshops begin at 10:30 a.m., noon and 2 p.m. Residents are asked to register in advance. John C. Hart Memorial Library, 1130 E. Main St.
