Monday, Sept. 24

Mind, Body and Wellness: 6 p.m. This new workshop will teach techniques for reducing stress, improving self-esteem, gaining creativity, and finding more ease and joy in your relationships. Register online or call 914-232-5717. Somers Public Library, 82 Primrose St. in Reis Park.

Integrative Care for Animals: 7 p.m. Dr. Andrew Frishman of Somers’ Progressive Animal Hospital will talk about the various forms of healing and how they can be combined to treat your pets. Tuesday, Sept. 25

First Grade Book Club: 3:30 - 4:15 p.m. The club will meet every Tuesday through Oct. 16. Children read a story, have a snack and do a craft or game. Somers Public Library, 82 Primrose St. in Reis Park.

Middle School Book Club: 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. The club meets every Tuesday to discuss books, play games and hang out. New members are always welcome at any time. Somers Public Library, 82 Primrose St. in Reis Park.

Parks and Recreation Board: 6:30 p.m. The board will meet at the Somers Town House, 335 Route 202, Somers.

Wednesday, Sept. 26

Yom Kippur: Schools are closed in observance of the religious holiday.

Thursday, Sept. 27

Little Farmers at Muscoot: 10 - 11 a.m. or 1 - 2 p.m. Children ages 3 and 4 are invited to learn about Muscoot Farm’s animals through a hands-on experience. Celebrating Fall: 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. An hour of live music, food and fun for older adults, their families and friends will be sponsored by The Boxwood Alliance, a free aging-in-place resource, as part of its Active Aging Week. On the lawn at Somers Manor Nursing Home, Route 100, Somers.

Somers Architectural Review Board: 7:30 p.m. The board will meet at the Somers Town House, 335 Route 202, Somers.
