iPad and iPhone for Beginners: 5 p.m. Join us to learn the basics of your iPhone and/or iPad. Learn about the Apple ID, setting up your device, basic functions and iPad gestures (on/off button, charging, internet navigation, etc.). Free. Somers Library, Route 139 and Reis Park.

Wednesday, Sept. 18

AARP Defensive Driving Course: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Space is limited so register early by calling 914-232-5717. $17 for AARP members/$19 for non-members. Somers Library, Route 139 and Reis Park.
