Monday, Dec. 17

Somers Republican Club: 7 p.m. The Somers Republican Club will hold its annual Holiday Dinner at Le Fontane Ristorante, 137 Route 100, Somers. The cost is $55 per person. Click here for more information.

You Gotta Start Somewhere: 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thinking about writing a novel? Learn how to begin, how to find your audience, how to create a writing schedule and more. Middle School Band Concert: 7:30 p.m. The Somers Middle School Band and Chorus will perform in the Somers Middle School auditorium, 250 Route 202, Somers. (snow date: January 3)

A Lionel Christmas: 2 to 4:30 p.m. The seasonal exhibit of Lionel Trains will be open for viewing every Thursday through December, from 2 to 4:30 p.m., and by appointment.
