Drop-In Crafts: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The library will supply the materials, you have to supply the imagination to make a take-home craft. It’s in the children’s room of the Somers Library, 82 Primrose St., Somers.
Hearthside Story Time: 2 to 3 p.m. Enjoy hot chocolate and popcorn and curl up with some good books read aloud. It’s for all ages, at the Somers Library, 82 Primrose St., Somers.

Zumba: 9:30 a.m. Party yourself into shape at a Zumba fitness class. It’s only $5 per class and there is no contract commitment. For more information, call Donna at (914) 523-2893 or go to www.somerscc.org. Classes are at the Somers Community Center, 34 Hillandale Drive, Shenorock.
Lego Building: 1 to 2 p.m. It’s time for the young architects to get to work with the library’s supply of Legos. The program is intended for ages 6 and up. The Somers Library is at 82 Primrose St., Somers.

Monday, Dec. 31 - New Year’s Eve
Somers Library: The library is open from 1 to 5 p.m. It is closed Jan. 1 and re-opens with regular hours Jan. 2.
Somers Schools: The schools are closed Dec. 31 and Jan. 1. They re-open Jan. 2.
Somers Community Center: 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Celebrate New Year’s Eve in the Crystal Hall of the Somers Community Center. Tickets are $45 per adult, including dinner, non-alcoholic beverages, music and a champagne toast. Children ages 6-12 are $20 each. You are welcome to BYOB if you wish.
