Friday, Feb. 1

Somers Touchdown Club Fundraiser: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. If you dine at the Somers Chili's and present a flier, 10 percent of your bill will be donated to the Somers Touchdown Club. Download the flier from the link below. Chili's is at 80 Route 6 in Baldwin Place. The phone number is 914-621-0216.

Somers Public Schools: Due to a professional learning day all schools have an early dismissal.

DJ Dance Night: 10 p.m. Dance the night away at Traditions 118. There's no cover charge and reservations are suggested but not required. For more information, call 914-248-7200. 11 Old Tomahawk St., Granite Springs.

Saturday, Feb. 2

Young Farmers at Muscoot: 9 a.m. to noon. Lottery ticket holders register for the Young Farmers Summer Program. Click here for forms and information. (Snow date for registration is Feb. 3). Muscoot Farm, Route 100, 1.5 miles south of Route 35 in Somers.

Somers Community Center Zumba: 9:30 a.m. Following the weekly zumba class there will be a free trial of core strength vinyasa flow yoga at 10:30 a.m. The Somers Community Center is at 34 Hillandale Drive in Shenorock.

A NIght of Comedy: 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. Comedians Johnny Lampert and Sherry Davey will entertain while the audience enjoys a buffet dinner, beer, wine, soda, dessert and coffee. It’s the third annual Night of Comedy to benefit the Somers Tuskers Booster Club. Tickets are $75 per person. For reservations email caw156@optonline.net. Sinapi’s Ceola Manor, 489 E. Live Music at Muscoot Tavern: 8 to 11:30 p.m. Howie & Tony Conte perform at Muscoot Tavern, 105 Route 100, Somers.

Dyeing Workshop: Feb. 2 is the registration deadline for a Feb. 16 scarf-making workshop at Muscoot Farm. Make your own hand-dyed scarf (or scarves) using a simple dip technique under the guidance of Mary Parker and Judy Flanders. You can choose your own colors and materials from those provided ($15-$20 materials fee). The event is suitable for ages 16 and older.  Email mparked@aol.com to register. Somers Community Center Zumba: 9:30 a.m. Party yourself into shape at a Zumba Fitness class. It’s only $5 per class and there is no contract commitment. Super Bowl Festivities: 5 p.m. till the game ends. Enjoy the Super Bowl at the Lovell Street Grill & Ale House.
