SOMERS, N.Y. - Froggy's Deli settled into its comfortable spot on Route 100 in Somers six years ago, and quickly become a neighborhood favorite.

Froggy's added a pizzeria a year and a half ago, and just started keeping the deli open 24 hour on weekends - so customers can get whatever they need at any hour.

The pizzeria has several popular pies, including the chicken pesto and pasta pies, and the deli has its own reputation for fast service, friendly staff and their popular specialty sandwiches, like the new and much-requested Goliath (chicken cutlet, bacon, egg and cheese, hash brown and hot sauce).

"We always have new specialty sandwiches," Bob Russo, who owns Froggy's with brothers John and Tony, all of Brewster, told Daily Voice. "We're always trying to get them better, always trying to give the customers more. And we're a deli and pizzeria so you can get everything you need in one stop."

Froggy's pizzeria side serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the food seems to be a hit with regulars.

"The food is really good, the workers are nice, and the deli food is awesome," a group of Kennedy Catholic High students eating at the pizzeria told DV. "Everything we've gotten here has been delicious."

Froggy's Deli is located at 253 Route 100 in Somers.
