Four "top dogs" are contenders in our DVlicious contest. Read on for a brief profile (all are being highlighted this week), then let your fingers do the clicking.
You can vote multiple times, albeit once per day. Voting ends 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 27.
Lubins-N-Links, TarrytownFrank Talk: Some hot dog lingo for this small, cozy spot: A link is a 100 percent all-beef hot dog served on a bun while a lubin is seasoned, slow roasted beef, sliced and served on a bun. The bottom line: This Tarrytown staple, with backyard seating, offers a variety of both -- with lots of interesting toppings and housemade toppings.
Among the favs: a BLT Dog with crumbled bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo, The Reuben Lubin with Russian dressing, chopped onions, and sauerkraut and The Figgy, with fig jam and sweet onions.
