Hundreds of enthusiastic fans waited patiently for their heroes - some for hours - in a line that snaked its way around the many book shelves in the store for a chance to get their book signed and get a 'selfie' with Drew and Jonathan Scott, stars of the Canadian reality series that has the identical twin brothers helping buyers purchase and renovate 'fixer-uppers.'

"We had our pilot in 2009, and pitched it to HGTV, and they said no," Drew told the crowd at the signing during a brief Q&A at the start of the session. "Then the Women's Network in Canada said yes! And in three months we were No. 1, and now we're in 140 countries."

The brothers said they currently have 16 projects in the works for the Westchester/Fairfield area, including Stamford, New Canaan, Weston, Easton, White Plains and Scarsdale.

The brothers' book is called “Dream Home: The Property Brothers’ Ultimate Guide to Finding and Fixing Your Perfect House."

"Dream Home" covers the ins and outs of buying, selling and renovating a house.
