Where once folks cringed at the thought of raw fish, now they crave it with Westchester County diners putting spicy salmon rolls and yellowtail scallion high on their list of “must haves.”
We asked – and you answered – giving us five of your favorite sushi restaurants. Grab your chopsticks and read below; each eatery is being profiled this week with the winner announced at the end of the month.

What Makes It Good: Sushi. Sashimi. And lots of it including a mind-boggling number of menu choices.
Diners Like: The home-style quality of its fresh fish and other traditional dishes. Sushi and sashimi are served with soybean soup. Other items that get high marks: dumplings, broiled yellowtail neck, and squid with garlic sauce.
Worth Special Mention: Their Omakase, a multi-course, seasonal meal is designed by their sushi chef and different every time. They carry a dozen types of sake, ranging from sweet potato to rice to barley. They also cater private parties.
