Last summer, Saccomanno, a graduate of Yorktown High School, was a finalist on the reality show, "WWE Tough Enough," where she competed to win a WWE contract.

Finishing in 2nd place, Saccomanno's WWE days weren't over as she is a cast member on the new season of "WWE Total Divas," which follows the company's female wrestlers on the road and explores their relationships at home. The new season premieres Jan. 19 at 9 p.m. on E!

Saccomanno began shooting Total Divas a month after Tough Enough's finale in August.

"It was overwhelming at first," Saccomanno said. "The other divas had been doing this a lot longer than I have. They were the veterans and I was the new girl from Tough Enough. You have to hope the girls will like you and you get along with them."

On the new season, Saccomanno traveled to Paris among many other adventures.

"It was a really awesome experience," Saccomanno said. "It's a great season."

On "Tough Enough," Saccomanno was portrayed as a bad girl. She is hoping "Total Divas," will give viewers a chance to see another side of her.

"The audience will be surprised to see how well I fit in," Saccomanno said. "Everyone was very warm and welcoming. I didn't know the girls and they didn't know me, they wanted to see who I am. I don't suck up to anybody but when respect is due, I give them respect."

Yorktown residents have gotten behind Saccomanno, she said. She said her boyfriend Michael, who runs Traditions in Granite Springs and Rose Room in Mount Kisco is inundated with questions about her wrestling future.

As she trains at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Saccomanno is excited about her WWE future and appearing on the main roster one day.

"I'm working my butt off to make sure I'm fully ready," Saccomanno said.
