Such is the proclamation on the January 2017 cover of Athleta, a national catalog of athleisure apparel featuring 98-year-old Tao Porchon-Lynch, founder of the Westchester Institute of Yoga.

The White Plains resident -- at the moment teaching classes in the Bahamas -- has a certain je ne sais quoi that attracts people to her.

A media darling, she has appeared on "America's Got Talent" and is noted in the Guinness World Book of Records as the world’s oldest yoga instructor. Her full of life biography includes meeting the Dalai Lama, working as a contract actress for M.G.M., and traveling the world from India to London -- and back again.

Athleta President Nancy Green told The New York Times in an article about Porchon-Lynch in November 2016 that she was selected for the campaign because of her youthful lifestyle and boundless enthusiasm which shatters stereotypes about old age and wellness. (See earlier Daily Voice story HERE.)

It's all part of the brand's new "Power of She" campaign.

You can find Porchon-Lynch at the JCC of Mid-Westchester in Scarsdale where she continues to teach classes and at the Fred Astaire Studio in Hartsdale (she's a competitive ballroom dancer as well as a yoga teacher). Go to www.taoporchon-lynch.com for more details.

You can pick up the Athleta catalog at the Vernon Hills Shopping Center store, 700 Post Rd, Scarsdale.

Or better yet: go see the nonagenarian in action. Porchon-Lynch will be dancing with her dance teacher/partner at the Athleta location at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15. The event is free and all are welcome.
