Donated toys can be dropped off at the Somers office at 338 Route 202 through Sunday, Dec. 21. Once the reception area of the office is full of toys, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage staff and affiliated sales associates will provide the items to the local Marine Corps for distribution.
While the Marines and local community organizations manage the Toys for Tots program, its success is based on the generosity and support of local residents. Local business leaders play a key role by allowing Marines to place collection receptacles in their offices, providing warehouse space and providing vehicles to gather toys from the collection sites.
“Our neighbors and members of the community have been very generous in the past, and we are pleased to once again invite them to help bring holiday cheer to local children. The holidays can be very difficult for families who are facing financial hardships, and they greatly appreciate the donations we are able to provide,” said Laura Acocella, sales manager of the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office in Somers.
