SOMERS. N.Y. -- A town residents is asking for help finding a dog that went missing Sunday afternoon.
Robin Roth Bambach, of Somers, is looking for Pepe, an elderly Papillion breed male. Bambach posted the message below on her Facebook page.
"Our beloved dog, Pepe, has been missing since about 12:30 pm on September 1, 2012," Bamback wrote. "Pepe is a Papillion with long white and brown fur and a wispy tail and ears. He weighs about 9 pounds. Pepe is almost 16 years old and is hard of hearing and can be temperamental if you try to pet him or pick him up. He will not hurt you. Pepe is fully vaccinated and has his rabies shot. Please share this with as many people as you can! We think Pepe may have been abducted. Inbox me with any information you have or if you need more information. We are all so very heartbroken."
