SOMERS, N.Y. Lifelong Somers resident William H. Barlow, Jr., died tragically on Nov. 6. He was 48.
Barlow was a life active member of the Somers Volunteer Fire Department as well as an Eagle Scout with Somers Troop One.
Born on Dec. 19 in Mount Kisco, he was the son of William Sr. and Thelma Barlow. He graduated from Somers High School, Boards of Cooperative Educational Services Tech in Yorktown, Ohio, Diesel Tech and T.C.I. in Windsor, Conn.
In his youth, Barlow was a member of the Church of the Good Springs in Granite Springs, N.Y. He was also a member of the Iron and Smoke Tractor Club.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Barlow, his son Billy, his daughter Alexa, his mother Thelma Barlow, his brother Keith (Kathleen) Barlow as well as a niece and nephew. He was predeceased by his father William, Sr.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Clark Associates Funeral Home in Katonah. The funeral will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at The Church of The Good Shepherd in Granite Springs, followed by a private cremation.
