SOMERS, N.Y. – You have probably heard the old proverb, “If you wait long enough in Times Square, everyone you know will pass by.” The same might be said of Somers’ King Kone ice cream stand and snack bar.
The latest celebrities seen recently at one of the picnic tables were Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, stars of the 2011 American superhero film, “The Green Lantern,” based on the DC Comics police officer who relies on a power ring to maintain intergalactic law and order. The couple, who have recently moved to the area, seemed to be enjoying some soft ice cream at the local earthbound landmark.
