Somers Auto Shop Owner, John Bueti Dies at 75

SOMERS, N.Y. - John Bueti, a Somers auto shop owner, died Nov. 2 following a long illness. He was 75.

Born on Aug. 13, 1936 in Mt. Kisco, he was son of the late Alfredo and Antonia Bueti. He served in the US Army from 1956 to 1958. Bueti co-owned Greeley Garage in Chappaqua with his brother Anthony. He also owned Preferred Auto Appearance in Mt. Kisco.

Bueti is survived by his daughters Maria Lombard with her husband Thomas of Dobbs Ferry and Christina Miles of Bedford Hills, his sisters Grace DiLisio of Mt. Kisco and Carmela Deszaran of South Carolina, his brother Anthony Bueti of Carmel and two grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents.

Visiting hours are from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday at Oelker-Cox & Sinatra Funeral Home in Mt. Kisco. A funeral mass will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday at St. Mary of the Assumption in Katonah, followed by interment at St. Francis Cemetery in Mt. Kisco.
