Toddler Story Time
Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Songs, stories and crafts for children of two and three years old, presented by Linda Worthman. Children must be accompanied by caregivers. The program is limited to Somers residents. There is no charge.
Free Movie: Cool Runnings (PG)
Friday, 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The library will screen a comedy hit inspired by the true story of Jamaicas first Olympic bobsled team.
Baby Sitters Training Course
Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Teens are invited to learn how to care for children, interact with parents and what to do in emergencies. Bring pencils, notebooks, a small lunch and a drink. There is a waiting list, but it is not too late to join the list. Call 914-232-5717.
Wolf Tails for Kids
Sunday, 11 a.m. Learn about wolf mythologies and create and share some of your own. Visit the ambassador wolves, Atka, Alawa and Zephyr and meet the critically endangered red wolves and Mexican gray wolves. Dress for cold weather and bring your camera. Hot drinks will be provided. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for children under 12. Pre-registration is required. Call 914-763-2373.
8th Annual Hudson River EagleFest
Saturday, 9 a.m., continuing throughout the day (weather permitting). Teatown Lake Reservation is sponsoring a full day of activities centered on the eagle population of the Hudson Valley. There will be guided and independent viewings, bus tours, storytelling, childrens programs and activities, bird walks and displays. The suggested donation is $5 per person.
