The show airs Tuesday, June 13 at 10 p.m.on MTV.

Twenty-three--year-old Gabriela Fuhr, a feng shui consultant from Thornwood and her 24-year-old best friend, Danielle Hrotko, an internet startup associate from Hawthorne, will be challenged to get covered in Amazon creatures and conquer a mental mousetrap game.

In order to win $50,000, they must first face being dragged to the bottom of a deep water tank.

They'll also have to deal with stunts inspired by urban legends, popular scary movies and viral videos from today’s cultural zeitgeist.

Fuhr, who's gone cliff diving and pencil dived off bridges, admits her biggest fear is sharks, while Hrotko is afraid of heights, tarantulas and being stranded. The two said they chose to be on the show after a long conversation about the topic. Both are also big fans.

The two also wanted to push their limits and comfort levels, which is why they agreed to go on.

Hrotko also wanted to expose -- and experience --  the realness. "Fear is an important emotion to reveal since our generation only exposes the emotions they choose," she said.

As for what they learned? The two stressed communication and having a trusted partner. "Without Gabby, my confidence would have been lowered and I wouldn't have been able to proceed to push my limits," said Hrotko.

She also said it was a humbling experience that she felt fortunate to share with her best friend. "Evidently, fear is a factor," she said.

So is money.

Added Fuhr: "People should expect to be shocked at the things team members will attempt to overcome for a chance at winning $50,000."
