Where is this in Somers? Photo Credit: Katherine Pacchiana

SOMERS, N.Y. – We have a challenge for sharp-eyed readers who think they know Somers. Can you tell us where this photo was taken?

Each week we’ll post a picture of a place or an architectural feature found in town. It’s up to you to figure out the name of the building, street or landmark where the photo was taken.

Last week's photo was correctly identified by boobear and Ann Garrity as the entrance to Muscoot Farm.

Post your answers to this week's photo in the comments section below or on our Facebook page.

trooper:

This is one of the 2 horse watering troughs in town that I know of. The first has already been reported as being on route 202 across from St Joseph's Cemetery but this one is on route 202 west of the the Somers Intermediate school and just east of Somers Chase near Todd Road.

Evita29:

I believe it is the old horse trough on 202 across from
Primrose School. It is on the curve of the road.

Ellie: That is a very good guess. There is something very similar at that location. This photo, however, was taken a few miles away.

ellie.ohearn:

It is on route 202 across from St. Joseph cemetery after the Nest flower shop and before the right turn on Rte 116
