SOMERS, N.Y. – Those equipment and catering trucks students see when they report for class at Somers High School Friday, Oct. 26, will be part of a film shoot for a Chase Bank commercial.
A crew from Epoch Films, Inc. will be shooting youngsters in football gear scrimmaging on the field. The shoot will take place from 6 to 10 a.m. and rely on natural light for the most part, but may have to use a portable generator at times.
Several types of trucks and a dozen or so personal cars will be on the school property. An off-duty Somers policeman will be hired to help with traffic control and other issues.
