SOMERS, N.Y. - At about 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1, State Police from the Somers barracks arrested James F. Ryan, 58, of Lake Mahopac on a charge of driving while intoxicated. Ryan was stopped by police on Dunhill Road in Somers, for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Further investigation led to the charge of DWI. He was also charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Ryan is scheduled to appear in Somers Town Court on November 7 at 5:30 p.m.
In an unrelated incident, a Ridge Way resident called the Somers barracks to report that some cash and a debit card had been taken from his unlocked vehicle parked in his driveway. Troopers investigation led to the arrest of two male juveniles and one 17-year-old male.
The juveniles were ordered to appear in Family Court on November 15, and released to their parents. The 17-year-old, Nekodar Bear of the Bronx, was also arrested and released and scheduled to appear at Somers Town Court on November 16 at 5:30 p.m.
