WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - The family of a 4-month-old chihuahua in Somers are hoping for the community’s assistance after she went missing over the weekend.
The family of Mia, a brown Chihuahua mix has been missing for two days after her family lost track of her in the Somers Commons on Saturday.
Mia is a rescue and her family described the dog as “nervous, but very friendly when she feels comfortable.” She has a brown coat, with a white chest and paws. She is not wearing a collar and has no microchip.
“Please help us bring Mia home, we miss her very much. She is a recent rescue and may be nervous (or) skittish. She is very friendly once she warms up.”
