The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert this week to Putnam residents regarding the residency of 74-year-old Ralph Paladino, who has moved from Valhalla to a residence on Northway in Lake Peekskill.

The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Paladino as a Level 3 threat, which means he is a “high-risk repeat offender and possible threat to public safety.” He has also been designated as a sexually violent offender.

According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Paladino had sexual contact and disseminated child porn to three 15-year-old boys in 1999. He was convicted of first-degree sodomy and on child porn charges in 2001 and sentenced to a term of between 16 months and five years in state prison. Paladino is now under the jurisdiction of the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.
