SOMERS, N.Y. -- Work on the parking lot at the Somers Library and town park will be completed next month, according to the library's director.
"After many weather-related delays, the latest information from the town is that the Reis Park parking lot will be completed mid-April," library Director Pat Miller said in a statement. "We have been told that the library will need to close a few days while actual paving occurs."
Miller is asking library patrons to carpool to library programs to maximize the limited spaces in the temporary parking lot.
Somers residents are asked to watch for messages on the library's website and to keep an eye on their email alerts and Facebook and Twitter accounts for further announcements.
